FCC chair-designate Jessica Rosenworcel could have to wait until as late as the fourth quarter to have her role confirmed by the Senate, but she will not be waiting to get the ball rolling on key technology initiatives. Reports suggest Rosenworcel will concentrate first on using her office to help address pressing economic matters such as closing the digital divide, which has turned into a vast chasm under a Republican FCC.
