It has been a bad April for Google. Last week, the US Department of Justice was successful in ruling that Google had a monopoly in online advertising. This week, the remedies phase of the DoJ’s online search has begun, with Chrome now on the divestment chopping block, and the threat of Android itself being excised if that step is deemed not enough.
