The latest company to pile into the crowded WiFi optimization space is Norwegian start-up Domos, which uses machine learning (ML) techniques. Domos is only a 10-person team today, but the company has already claimed the scalps of Vodafone, Elisa, Telenor and Orange. While AirTies, Assia, SoftAtHome, Plume and others have each cornered sizeable slices of this segment, Domos has repositioned away from what CTO Magnus Olden describes as “classic WiFi management” by focusing on resource optimization on the CPE.
