Last week we reported on the progress of Chinese perovskites, in particular Mellow Energy’s 100 MW pilot line announcement and GCL Technology’s 18.04%-efficient 1000*2000mm single-junction perovskite module. This week we have to return to the topic because of a 1 MW perovskite installation which has been commissioned near Ordos, in Inner Mongolia, by China Three Gorges, and because GCL Technology has gone on to announce a tandem result of 26.17% efficiency over a 279*370mm sized module.
