Chinese automaker Geely, the owner of Volvo, has said it is developing a satellite network for its autonomous vehicle strategy, which is both a blow for the MNO world that hopes automotive traffic is going to be a savior, and for the MNOs that think the Industrial IoT is going to be a significant new revenue opportunity.
