Something we’ve not covered before at Rethink Energy is the phenomenon of ‘balcony PV’ in Germany, because quite frankly it seems a bit silly compared to the ‘real’ rooftop and utility-scale solar segments. But the majority of Germans live in apartments, a proportion which is higher than every other country in the European Union other than Spain, Greece and the Baltics.
