The Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) has announced an expansion of its liaison with the Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP), to focus on developing technologies and testbeds that will help boost IoT adoption in the energy sector – from smart homes to utility-scale infrastructure. The move will make it easier for IIC members to participate in SGIP testbeds, and vice versa, and see the two commit to a formal review of each other’s energy ambitions.
