The highly ambitious Greenko in India is rapidly becoming once of the most audacious renewable forces there. It has just filed a plan to build what it is calling the world’s largest renewable energy asset – built around pumped storage hydro. Actually this is a single project at Shapura in Rajasthan, a stand-alone pumped hydro scheme costing the equivalent of $1.6 billion.
