South Korea’s operators are often held up as bellwethers for others round the world, despite being very atypical in many ways. This is partly because SK Telecom, Korea Telecom (KT) and LG U+ are more transparent with their announcements about 5G subscribers and revenues than many, as well as working in one of the most advanced mobile markets in the world, so they provide some kind of benchmark.
