Canadian Solar, Risen Energy, TCL Zhonghuan, Trina Solar, Tongwei, and Chint New Energy – six of the biggest solar manufacturers with a combined production capacity of several hundred GW – have launched a joint initiative to promote a standardized design for 700+ Watt solar modules. These super-large modules are built off the 210mm wafer size, with the latest agreement involving 2384*1303mm size (3.1 square meters each).
