Nokia has announced a new service that allows AI technology to be deployed to improve quality of experience for low latency applications at the network edge. ‘AVA Quality of Experience at the Edge’ is based on the Nokia AVA “AI-as-a-service” offering, which combines technologies from Nokia and Microsoft. It is targeted at operators which want to launch consumer services, such as video streaming and cloud gaming, that can be significantly enhanced by low latency response.
