At its GTC conference, Nvidia unveiled a raft of telco-focused announcements. A 6G R&D partnership, improvements to the Aerial AI-RAN platform, and agentic AI capabilities for backend services were the main draws, but zooming out, it is clear that Nvidia sees a major opportunity in slinging GPUs and related services to operator customers.
