Ossia’s long-range wireless charging gets break, but is this a zenith?

We have long covered Ossia’s advancements, with its Cota wireless charging technology embracing commodity hardware and offering a much longer charging distance than rival approaches – enough to trickle charge IoT sensors and negate the problem of having to replace batteries. However, it still hasn’t landed the killer deal that would safe-guard its future entirely. This might have changed, after the startup announced a win with a battery supplier, but if this is the zenith of the technology, then we’ll be somewhat disappointed. The battery deal could be huge. It is described as ‘an agreement with a global, tier one battery manufacturer, to co-develop Cota-enabled batteries.
