Vestas will supply thirty-eight 4.2 MW turbines to three wind farms owned by Luxcara in Northern Ostrobothnia in Finland: the 100.8 MW Valikangas, 29.6 MW Sievi, and 29.6 MW Pihtipudas to be commissioned by the end of 2021. OX2 is developing Finland’s largest wind farm, the 132 MW Metsälamminkangas project in Vaala municipality. Lundin Petroleum has signed a PPA, and GE Renewable Energy’s 5.5 MW Cypress model turbines will be used. Commissioning is estimated for December 2021.
