Tata touts private 5G to multiple verticals Tata Communications, part of the Indian Tata conglomerate, is in talks with over 40 large enterprises across several verticals over provision of private 5G networks. Vishy Ramaswamy, Tata Communications’ VP for 5G and digital solutions incubation, is quoted in national paper The Economic Times as saying the firm is currently engaged in trials with some of these companies, and in several cases more advanced commercials discussions over putative private 5G network deployments.
