The acquisition of WiFi infrastructure maker Ruckus, by set-top provider Arris, is already starting to impact on the latter’s results. Ruckus contributed $170m of sales in the quarter, more than 10% of the business, and that percentage is expected to increase in the coming quarters, as Arris leverages its technology to extend its platforms and services.
