With the enterprise and cloud software providers increasingly seeing operators as low hanging fruit, it is no surprise to see Salesforce upping the ante in that market. The pioneer of SaaS (software-as-a-service) has launched a new framework to ease the migration of service providers’ critical systems into the cloud. If service providers accelerate their migration to the cloud, that would open up bigger opportunities for Salesforce to sell its core software for customer relationship management to them.
