Samsung has launched its Galaxy XR headset, powered by Android XR and prominently featuring Google’s Gemini assistant. Priced at $1,799, this is around half the price of Apple’s Vision Pro, and while reviewers have only been given a few minutes with the headset, early feedback is generally good. These are still very much not mobile devices, but they highlight the improvements made in screen technology, which will eventually trickle down to reach the mobile smart glasses that MNOs need to be prepared for.
