Sigfox and Silicon Controls, a specialist in selling replenishment services to the LPG industry, have announced a deal to connect a million gas storage monitoring devices to the global Sigfox network – with Australian Sigfox network operator (SNO) Thinxtra acting as a catalyst in the global deal. Thinxtra, a startup, also holds the exclusive Sigfox SNO license for New Zealand, and played an important role in evangelizing the low-power wide-area network (LPWAN).
