Smart city and smart lighting specialist Silver Spring Networks chose the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona to reveal its latest smart city networking platform. Billing it as a next-gen multi-app system, Silver Spring says a number of key additions have been made, as well as adding new partners EnLight and Lumnex and their smart lighting tech to the platform. The company has also announced that it has now delivered 20m connected devices, with a record backlog of business at the end of the quarter.
