Smart building has emerged as an important target vertical sector for 5G, embracing elements of all three primary use cases (massive machine communications, ultra-low latency and high speed). But this will require significant progress in indoor coverage, which is challenging especially at the higher frequencies, as well as compromise and integration with established wired infrastructures, along with WiFi.
