Spain’s fourth renewables auction, offering 1.8 GW of solar and 1.5 GW of wind, awarded only 46 MW to two smaller wind projects from Forestalia and Elawan Energy. The third Spanish auction, held in October, awarded only 31 MW to distributed solar out of an intended 177 MW, with the rest of the awarded capacity being biomass.
