Chip manufacturer Texas Instruments (TI) has unveiled a third party IoT program to match TI silicon customers to IoT cloud providers. The ecosystem should allow businesses using TI chips to access the IoT more easily through the 8-member partnership. The first members to be announced include a couple of large players and smaller IoT specialists. The partner program is intended to make TI’s chips more attractive offerings to any business using the software, hardware or cloud services from the other members of the program.
