The Ultra HD Forum stuck to tradition by publishing a set of new technical guidelines at the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) annual show, and it also used the event to provide the highlights of the 180-page document. As well as laying out a strategy for 8K, ‘Ultra HD Guidelines 2.0’ introduces separate guidelines for foundation technologies and enhancements.
