Seven weeks since lifting the lid on licensing terms for its implementation of the latest generation of MPEG-based video enhancements, V-Nova has announced its first integration partner. The UK-based company has devised a licensing scheme for MPEG-5 Part 2, also known as LCEVC (low-complexity video enhancement codec), which is free for integration, and it has landed a certified partner in the shape of Southworks, a London-based software development company.
