Verizon is looking to tap up the enterprise demand for XR devices, as a way to sell additional connectivity and perhaps even make a little money on hardware too. It has launched the new 5G USB Modem, and a recent presentation, called Shaping the Future of XR with Verizon 5G, aimed to outline how the new 5G USB modem is positioned to play a ‘starring role,’ in the XR expansion.
