Riot met Verv at this year’s IoT Tech Expo, where the London-based startup was showing off its energy usage analytics and smart home system – an application that identifies devices in a home and presents its data in an app. It’s a very promising idea, and one that has both B2B and B2C opportunities. On sale now, Verv is hoping to turn its conversations with utilities into actual commercial contracts, as well as further develop a peer-to-peer energy trading scheme. The package costs £250, with Verv promising access to features that are developed later in the design process.
