Vietnam’s pipeline of wind projects to be commissioned this year stands at 5.4 GW, according to the national utility EVN. Along with that will come another 3 GW of solar capacity, residual from last year’s boom, and 3 GW of coal plants, which will together bring the entire national capacity to 80 GW.
