Vodafone Group CEO Nick Read has added a European voice to the band of MNOs criticizing DSS (dynamic spectrum sharing), even though one of his operating companies, Vodafone Ziggo, is already using the technology in The Netherlands. Such cases look curious at first case because the groups voicing doubts have have often deployed DSS somewhere in their own infrastructures already, which is the case for Vodafone and also for Deutsche Telekom, which still owns a large share of one of DSS’s chief detractors, T-Mobile USA.
