Comcast is leveraging its new, common technology stack to launch a global streaming device called the XiOne, which will be offered to its Xfinity customers in the USA and Sky units in Europe, as well as to Comcast’s X1 syndication partners. The device incorporates WiFi 6 and supports several advanced video and audio formats, including 4K, High Dynamic Range (HDR), Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
