M&A & Investments Amphenol has taken another bite at the CommScope apple, acquiring the Connectivity and Cable Solutions (CCS) division for $10.5 billion – which has annual revenues of around $3.6 billion. This should allow CommScope to clear its outstanding $9.4 billion debt load. Amphenol bought the cellular-focused assets, including small cells and DAS (and the Andrew brand) for $2.1 billion, in 2024. This leaves CommScope with its WiFi-focused Ruckus assets, and the cable broadband-focused Access Network Systems (ANS) wing. Ericsson has officially completed the formation of Aduna – the Network API focused joint venture with 12 ‘equity partner’ MNOs. Ericsson retains a 50% share.
