Verizon Digital Media Services and Bharti Airtel said this week they have partnered to launch new internet points of presence in four major Indian cities, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and New Delhi. This means that Verizon can now take US traffic rapidly to Indian customers using Airtel’s infrastructure as a gateway. And according to third-party CDN tools from specialist Cedexis, Verizon Digital Media Services has already registered significant improvements when comparing performance in India before and after.
