Two iconic milestones for the TV industry were passed in the same week, which was no coincidence since they are closely related. Firstly advertising revenues from the Internet overtook those from broadcasting for the first time, reaching their all-time high of $42.8 billion for 2013, according to a report from the IAB (Internet Advertising Bureau).
