Making good on its threat to offer Android Wear as an option for iPhone users, Google has announced that Android Wear watches are now able to pair with fifth generation iPhones, via an Android Wear app. The tradeoff is that the new abilities are only possible on newer models, and that they do not have the same functionality as the full-Android experience.
