Google has started work on a new operating system, which will support micro IoT devices and scale all the way up to PCs. The OS is an ambitious project, with one core component drawing a lot of attention – it won’t be using the Linux kernel at all. With Fuchsia, Google is trying to build a non-Linux OS. There have been no official announcements about Fuchsia, and it appeared on GitHub with just the description “Pink + Purple = Fuchsia (a new Operating System).
