Two weeks ago, we noted that one big deal could be all that Sigfox needs to right the ship, to ease investor pressure after a rough few quarters. This week, Sigfox has announced that it is part of a deal that will see IBM provide Peugeot with a container tracking system for its supplier and assembly logistics. Of course, it’s not yet a victory lap, but this does look like good news for the embattled LPWAN provider. Groupe PSA, which includes the Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, and Vauxhall brands, is the second-largest European automaker, after the Volkswagen Group, selling around 3.9mn units annually.
