When discussing 5G, and operators’ ambitions to conquer the great indoors, it is sometimes forgotten that the big tier 1 carriers now tend also to offer fixed broadband with associated WiFi and LAN services. Therefore, they are already present indoors in various guises, both in the consumer and enterprise sectors. The question then becomes how their indoor 5G strategies play into that.
