Samsung and South Korea’s NAVER Cloud may not be correct to claim that their private 5G network was the country’s first, but the application involving servile robots around the latter’s new headquarters is certainly novel. The robots, controlled from remote cloud-based systems via NAVER Cloud’s private 5G network, will enable 40 robots to roam around the site providing services to employees, including delivery of packages, coffee and lunch boxes.
