The latest Global Mobile Suppliers Association (GSA) data on private LTE and 5G networks highlights emerging discrepancies with other semiofficial sources – being generally more bullish. The GSA maintains a quarterly tally of organizations that have deployed either LTE or private 5G, or both, with the recent aggregate curve being fairly steady, but not surprisingly swinging slowly from the former to the latter. By the latest count, the total number of organizations that have so far deployed at least one private mobile network increased by 64 in the 2nd quarter of 2023 to 1,212.
