The GSMA and ETNO have announced their support for a new industry report, published by the European Council, and are now calling for EU member states to enact its recommendations. Unsurprisingly, while it has a noble ambition, the underlying premise that businesses will be the driving force for such geopolitical visions is misguided at best, and foolish at worst.
