Differences among surveys and predictions over private 5G can be explained largely by varying levels of take up between sectors and individual use cases. Nokia, as an early private 5G evangelist among the major mobile infrastructure vendors, naturally accentuates the positive in its recent 2024 Industrial Digitalization Report. This found 78% of respondents reporting positive ROI on private 5G within six months of deployment and 93% over a whole year, while 45% expanded the scope to use cases not originally envisaged.
