Qualcomm has teamed up with video service software provider Accedo, and specialist sports broadcaster HBS, to found the XR Sports Alliance. For Qualcomm, this is an attempt to dictate the roadmap for the underlying technologies needed for these new experiences, which will rely on mobile devices to capture and convey the action.
