Verizon aims to tap growing demand for venue and temporary 5G connectivity with a package aimed at both. Some large stadiums and venues are already equipped with permanent 5G connectivity, in some cases complimented by WiFi, which can also be an alternative. But there are many cases where temporary and robust 5G connectivity is called for, especially in out of stadium events that span public places, the forthcoming Olympic Games in Paris being an example. Verizon however has smaller more self-contained events in mind, which could be in venues themselves, or including the immediate surrounding area.
