Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) has been surging in India, amid strong demand for the services from many broadband-impoverished rural homes. The trend is similar, if less spectacular, in other leading APAC markets, including the Philippines, Indonesia and Australia, but with the sizeable exception of China. Wireless Watch predicted this surge well over a year ago, as the 5G rollout gathered pace in India.
