Less than two weeks after Digital 9 nullified its majority stake in Arqiva comes a potential lifeline for the UK’s primary terrestrial transmission company. Investment firm Polus Capital Management is set to acquire the 26.54% shareholding in Arqiva from Macquarie following the latter’s investment withdrawal last November. While Arqiva has reassured Faultline of its “strong, stable business”, Polus’s investment shows that the writing is on the wall for the company.
