Broadband driven by more fiber and more IoT apps says report

While our partner publication Rethink TV has focused on how many broadband lines will reach the magic 1 Gbps in 5 years (it reckons 340m by 2023) The Broadband Forum continues to count ALL broadband lines and says the world will have 1.2 billion by 2025. And it’s data supplier, Point Topic, which counts up the numbers, says wireless-wireline convergence is one of the key growth drivers. Of course IoT applications in most home, will do no harm either.
