The managed-services-momentum shows no signs of slowing, following an announcement that Big Blue Marble (a new name on the block) is working with 3 Screen Solutions (3SS) and SEI Robotics to turbocharge its managed TV-as-a-service (TVaaS) platform for pay TV operators. Big Blue Marble’s goal is to compete at scale, but whether it can take on the likes of Zattoo, UniqCast, and Agile TV is unclear.
