US private 5G specialist Celona is backing the neutral host model to drive enterprise deployments beyond the existing industrial and engineering heartlands into emerging sectors like venues, healthcare, retail, logistics and indeed general offices. This will dovetail with other drivers, notably the desire by some industrial enterprises to unify IT and OT (Operational Technology) systems, and demands to implement zero trust security.
