ChargePoint commits $1bn to US EV charging network with NATSO

ChargePoint and the National Association of Truck Stop Owners (NATSO) have announced a $1bn initiative to install EV charging infrastructure at over 4,000 travel plazas and fuel stations in the US. This news has been bolstered by the unveiling of two bills in the House of Representatives, which seek to build a national EV charging network and increase EV access among poorer communities. The ChargePoint and NATSO deal is substantially larger than the Natural Resources Canada project covered last week, which despite $182.5mn of funding had garnered barely any users to date.
