The time has come for the global telecoms industry to separate the short and long term impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on traffic levels and demand for given services. Some indicators have come from financial results and statements issued by leading players, such as infrastructure conglomerate CommScope, which has just posted a mixed bag of figures for its Q3 2020.
